Qualified, experienced firm, or firms, capable of providing professional services to support the County in meeting CDBG-DR requirements and HAP policies by conducting the housing and/or lead-based paint inspections on properties considered for HAP funding as needed. The HAP program requires property inspections be completed for all properties under a purchase agreement and the resulting inspection report must be provided to the program. The inspection report will serve as the inspection of the property for the lender and for the County to verify the proposed property meets program standards and eligible for HAP funding. The property inspection may include visual inspection of: The property inspection may include visual inspection of: Roof; Attic and/or crawl space; Structure and foundation; Windows; Kitchen and bathrooms; HVAC, heating and plumbing; Electrical; Pests and termites; General health and safety; and Other property elements as necessary.
