The Windham Northeast Supervisory Union Recovery Plan & Continuous Improvement Plan (2022-2025) addresses learning loss and challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. The plan focuses on three main domains: Social-Emotional Learning, Mental Health, and Well-being; Student Engagement and Truancy; and Academic Achievement and Success. Specific goals include improving student mental health and well-being through trauma-informed practices and restorative justice; increasing student engagement and reducing truancy through improved family-school connections and diversity initiatives; and enhancing academic achievement by improving instruction, providing intervention services, and implementing a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS). The plan also addresses efficiency, effectiveness, and equity through initiatives focused on staff recruitment and retention, fiscal responsibility, and equitable resource allocation.
