The State CIO Priorities for 2014 document outlines top priorities in IT management and technology. It includes educating on GenAI capabilities and limitations, ethical considerations, curriculum additions, collaboration with tech companies, and highlighting success stories. Additionally, it aims to encourage the use of GenAI in state executive-branch agencies, improve government services, and support state employees in their duties.

The meeting agenda includes working group updates on policies and governance, workforce education and training, data management and ownership, and responsible and ethical use of GenAI. A GenAI inventory report and a review of the draft table of contents for the final report are also on the agenda. A presentation by Deloitte is scheduled, along with a group discussion and Q&A session. The next meeting date is to be determined.
