The Contractor’s work shall achieve the following outcomes: Develop a T2 Plan: Develop a conceptual outline, roadmap, and timeline of needed T2 activities to include aspects such as how to engage with internal and external stakeholders, public transportation agencies, the industry as whole, and general public. Conduct a survey of public transportation agencies to identify what their needs are and what role they can play in facilitating success in adopting technology. Develop a list of potential barriers that a public transportation institution could face in adopting new research. See attached file.

The contractor must provide qualified personnel that meet the qualifications stated in the following labor categories: Program Manager; Senior Meeting Planner/Event Facilitator; Event Planner; Meeting Registrar/Admin Support Specialist. Tasks involved may include, but are not limited to, any of the following: Taking notes, preparing meeting materials (name badges, table tents), assembling binders, preparing posters, compiling CDs of meeting materials for attendees, facilitating satisfaction surveys after meetings, hotel arrangements and/or travel required for meetings; Recording and providing meeting minutes; Ensuring that materials are completed prior to meetings/conferences. The scope of this Statement of Work is to assist FTA’sTSO-20 with the following: Evaluation of the development, implementation, and compliance of state oversight and rail transit agency safety programs as per applicable regulations, requirements, and FTA guidance, Identification, development, and delivery of technical assistance and training to guide state and rail transit agency program development, implementation, and compliance, Responses to industry and government inquiries and needs related to FTA’s safety program implementation, Coordination with other FTA programs to ensure a systems approach to delivery of its safety program.
