Port Freeport
The chosen bidder/ultimate contractor ("Contractor") shall, in a timely fashion, be able to remove and reuse trolley short rails located before and after the cranes' boom hinges, remove existing shim plates and install new Port-supplied shim plates (Contractor will be responsible for trimming shim plates for proper fit), evaluate and repair the railbed as needed (repairs to be performed T&M at Port's prior approval), install fishplates, bolts, nuts, washers, rail clips, and fix blocks (all provided by Port), and provide requisite certified labor, supervision, welding equipment, and materials/consumables required by the work. Said labor shall be vetted and confirmed as TWIC-compliant prior to mobilization. Port has in its possession a ZPMC-manufactured rail replacement platform which can be used by the Contractor for this work.
