Summary
The WTP Transmission Main Replacement Project generally consists of replacing the 20-inch transmission main from the Water Treatment Plant to Grant Street and the 16-inch water main in Grant Street from W. Clay Street to the Riverside Park including all new fittings, valves, and fire hydrants, and a new butterfly valve inside the water treatment plant. The project also includes the installation of an 8-inch DR18 C900 PVC raw water irrigation main with a steel casing bore under Yellowstone Hwy, the replacement of an existing 6-inch ductile iron force main with 6-inch HDPE, and the installation of a new storm water sewer in the parking lot north of the Douglas Public Works building. The project will also include a full depth reconstruction of Grant Street from W. Clay Street to Yellowstone Highway including new curb and gutter, sidewalks, and ADA ramps. Finally, the project will include the installation of a new raw water automatic irrigation for the lawns at the water treatment plant. The project includes approximately 570LF of 16-inch DR18 C900 PVC Pipe and 250LF of 20-inch ductile iron pipe along with less than 20 LF of 12\" welded steel pipe, 925LF of 8-inch DR18 C900 PVC irrigation pipe, 55LF of 8-inch DR18 C900 PVC water main pipe, 445LF of 6-inch DR17 HDPE (DIPS) sanitary force main, 141LF of 15-inch SDR35 PVC storm sewer pipe, 35LF of 8-inch SDR35 PVC storm sewer pipe, 120LF of 4-inch SDR35 PVC storm sewer pipe, and 115LF of 4\" DR18 C900 PVC pipe.
