In 2026, JCD will hire one to three professional herbicide applicators to apply herbicides to state-listed noxious weeds across 600-1,000 gross acres at 15 to 20 private properties. These are large, mostly undeveloped mountain properties which have been recently logged. Terrain can be steep and rocky. Contractors should plan to conduct most spraying via backpack. Spraying will generally be spot spraying. There will be little to no broadcast spraying.
