Abatement & Disposal of Asbestos & Lead RFP
Perform encapsulation, enclosure, repair and/or removal of asbestos containing materials (ACM), lead containing materials (LCM) and the abatement of exposed hazards on an "as needed" basis, as specified herein, as required for a complete and proper installation and as follows: Inspect and investigate existing conditions and to locate and identify necessary abatement, repairs, maintenance and replacements. Provide recommendations for the abatement or encapsulation of such material at the request of Nassau BOCES or the participating District(s). Prepare a detailed scope of work and itemized cost estimate outlining all proposed labor and material charges and quantities. Provide abatement and/or disposal as designated by the authorized Nassau BOCES or participating District(s) representative for all Nassau BOCES and participating District locations.
