AvailableTrail rehabilitation project. The asphalt trail is deteriorating, with severe oxidation, cracks, heaving, and undercutting in the asphalt. The retaining walls are leaning and no longer keep material off the trail. This project will fill and seal the cracks, reconstruction select sections, stabilize eroding areas, and apply a seal coat to the asphalt. Timber retaining walls will be removed and reconstructed with segmental concrete block retaining walls. The pipe railing is damaged in some areas. This project will also repair the damaged sections of railing and eliminate sections where the railing is not needed. The project will also construct reinforcement with gabion (wire rock baskets) to repair eroded sections at the trails edge and bridge abutments. Existing timber retaining walls will be removed. New larger retaining walls will be constructed. See attached file.
