Description: The Western Trails Creative District (WTCD) by and through Keith County Area Development (KCAD) is excited to announce the launch of the 2026 Veterans Art Project in the city of Ogallala, Nebraska. Art in public places plays an important role in preserving our culture, conveying the history of our community, and beautifying our community. The main goal of the Veterans Art Project is to support the creation of a timeless sculpture or architectural work to honor Ogallala’s Veterans, to promote the creative expression of the artist and to provide an enriching visual experience for residents and visitors as a quality of place enhancement.

Straighten and align headstones in place with care. Build brick wall to be even height and stucco. Backfill approx 3" of decomposed granite. Properly water and compact decomposed granite.
