USACE HQ/UMSB Library Congressional Reporting Service

Description: Requires an online subscription service that delivers in-depth Congressional Reporting which allows users to search for historical and present day full-text documents, indices and abstracts, news, current events, transcripts, policy, and analysis documents. Access for authorized USACE personnel must be provided over the open Web. This digital content will enable USACE personnel served by the UMSB Library to accomplish mission-critical projects. The vendor will provide information that allows library users to respond to Congressional inquiries; organize briefs to Congress; prepare for testimony before Congress; and provide Congress with requested reports. Content must track and report authorization and appropriation legislation as it advances through the legislative process and allow side-by-side comparisons. Content provided must also allow research into prior and historical legislative actions in order to provide understanding of current and future legislation. See attached file.
