US 130 Access Management Needs Assessment (Request for Proposals)

Description: Consulting team of transportation planners and traffic engineers to assess the impact of future land development on traffic safety and congestion on the US 130 corridor in Burlington and Mercer Counties in New Jersey. Traffic operations, crash history and access and multimodal conditions will be documented under current conditions. The impact of future development and redevelopment will be assessed under multiple scenarios, including existing zoning build-out and cluster development around existing access points both public and private. The study should identify opportunities to coordinate land use, site access, and transportation improvements in order to preserve the long-term safety and operational function of US 130 while supporting future development and redevelopment. The study will include coordination with municipal, county, NJDOT, and other transportation stakeholders and will provide actionable recommendations that municipalities and counties can incorporate into future planning, zoning, land development regulations, development review, and transportation improvement planning.
