Description: This Commercial Solutions Opening establishes a streamlined, competitive process for the Army to obtain innovative commercial solutions that fulfill requirements, close capability gaps, and provide new capabilities. The Strategic Services Branch uses it to support Army requirement activities at Detroit Arsenal, Selfridge Air National Guard Base, and in the National Capital Region, across areas including IT, museum exhibits and artifact services, modeling and simulation, transcription, custodial, grounds, and facilities support. It is authorized under DFARS Subpart 212.70, and resulting contracts or agreements are fixed-price.
