Proposals from qualified respondents capable of providing services to: (a) install one (1), new power switchyard control house building for the gcec zone 4. 1 electric utility system that is currently being constructed at tyndall afb. 1 the ~761 gross square foot power switchyard control house will provide an environmentally controlled enclosure to house equipment such as relay and control panels, an automatic transfer switch (“ats”), ac and dc service panelboards, batteries and battery chargers, and other components necessary for operating and monitoring the switching station’s electrical equipment, as well as the electrical power distribution smart vista sd switchgear along the new zone 4. 1 installed main loop feeders at tyndall afb. Services include site development and construction of the building’s foundation. (b) verify that the power switchyard control house building and foundation meet design specifications through structural, site, and factory testing (if applicable). Services include confirmation of proper installation, structural integrity, alignment, weatherproofing, fire resistance, and load capacity to ensure the building is stable, sealed, and suitable for future equipment. Foundation validation shall include strength testing, soil compaction, reinforcement inspection, anchor bolt verification, and levelness surveying to confirm compliance with code and design requirements. Structural commissioning shall document that all tolerances are met and that the building is safe, stable, and ready to receive interior systems and equipment.
