Tree Removal Services - Fall 2024 (Town of Vail)

The Town of Vail solicits contractors to remove and dispose of ~25 dead/dying spruce and lodgepole pine along a 0.5-mile section of Gore Creek (mostly town-owned; two on Grand Hyatt/private). Pricing: two lump-sum prices (town-owned and private) plus unit/hourly pricing for traffic control; contract is fixed-price except traffic control. Scope includes cutting, limbing, hauling, chipping, cleanup, and off-site disposal (no delivery to Town); brood trees must be destroyed or hauled to an approved site >5 miles. Access constraint: no vehicular access to the south side—contractor must propose access methods. Work window: Oct 7–25, 2024.
