Uniform Supply and Laundry Services RFP
The specifications cover services to be rendered by the uniform service respondent for various Sussex County Offices and Divisions
Description: The Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CCRTA) is seeking a Contractor to furnish, supply, and provide ongoing uniform services for bus operators and supervisors. The current workforce serviced under this Contract consists of approximately 80 male and 16 female bus operators, with the potential to increase to as many as 104 operators during the term of the Contract. In addition, the Contract includes uniform services for approximately 11 male and seven (7) female supervisors. Effective coordination and management of the uniform service program are critical to ensure employees receive uniforms in a timely manner and that replacements, repairs and other required services are performed without interruption. Each newly hired employee will initially be provided with five (5) shirts, three (3) pairs of pants, and one (1) lightweight jacket. Additional uniform items may be ordered for newly hired employees after passing a probationary period. The effective date of the contract is April 1, 2027. All Bidders must complete the Uniform Specifications Submittal Form (Exhibit I) and submit it through the Q&A section of PlanetBids for CCRTA review and approval. This requirement applies to all Bidders, whether they are proposing uniform products that meet the IFB specifications or requesting approval of equal products. The deadline for submitting Exhibit I, questions, and requests for approved equal products is Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. (CST). CCRTA will review the submitted forms and respond to questions and product approval requests by Tuesday, November 17, 2026. All proposed uniform products must receive CCRTA approval before a Bidder may submit a bid. Bidders must include their approved Exhibit I with their final bid submission through PlanetBids. Approval of Exhibit I applies only to the proposed uniform products and does not constitute approval of the Bidder or a determination of bid responsiveness or bidder responsibility. This is a three-year firm fixed-price supply and service contract. The effective date for this contract is April 1, 2027. The CCRTA will award a single contract to one Contractor for all uniform products.
