Summary
Requires advanced, highly specialized engineering consulting services to support the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Track Safety Research Program. The scope of work requires the contractor to lead eight (8) deep-dive, one-hour recorded video consultations per year and prepare comprehensive technical presentation materials and associated electronic data files. The technical coverage strictly branches into two core research tasks: Task 1 (Track Buckling and Rail Longitudinal Force Management) and Task 2 (Rail Breaks, Slow Crack-Growth Life, and Rolling Contact Fatigue Integration).
