TOWNSHIP OF BORDENTOWN NOTICE OF ALTERNATE PROCUREMENT METHOD

Description: Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3), notice is hereby given that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Township of Bordentown, County of Burlington, intends to utilize a National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with the Houston- Galveston Area Council cooperative for the procurement of fire apparatus (pumper) with necessary equipment to make the emergency response vehicle functional. The Board is permitted, pursuant to the above mentioned statutory authority, to utilize a national cooperative as an alternate procurement method. The Board shall discuss and act upon the use of the alternate procurement method at its regular monthly meeting on November 5, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Fire Company, 51 Groveville Road, Bordentown Township, New Jersey. The public shall be afforded an opportunity to participate prior to any action being taken. The Board shall also receive written comments from the public through noon on November 5, 2026.
