Summary
Demolition of the existing roof across the entire facility and replacement with a modern roof assembly. Existing storefront and curtainwall systems are to be replaced with modern systems. Steel in the natatorium (and primary truss in the gym) are to be cleaned and resurfaced and encapsulated with a high-performance coating appropriate for chlorine environments. Acoustic wall panels are to be added in the gymnasium. Exterior drainage improvements include sitework, grading, and hardscaping. Add. alternates include a new HVAC system in the natatorium and required electrical upgrades to serve the unit. Other alternates include upgrading the roof deck from a type-B to a dovetail deck across the facility.
