Summary
The WRF 2026 Upgrades (Hereafter referred to as “Project”) consists of construction of improvements to the existing solar drying processes at the WRF, including retrofit of the solar dryer greenhouse, demolition, new heated floors, site work, yard piping, electrical and instrumentation, HVAC and plumbing, and all other equipment and infrastructure to make the upgraded facilities complete and operational; construction of a new boiler room at the existing WRF, including installation of a new pre-engineered metal building to also include electrical, HVAC and plumbing, and all other equipment and infrastructure to make the boiler room facility complete and operational; new ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system to be retrofit into the existing Channel #2, including electrical and instrumentation, demolition, and all other equipment and infrastructure required to make the upgraded facilities complete and operational. The integration of SCADA will be by Owner under a separate contract. The HUBER solar dryer turners and Trojan UV disinfection system equipment have been pre-procured by the Owner and will be assigned to the General Contractor for installation and startup.
