Description: The Tire-Derived Aggregate (TDA) Grant Program (Program) provides assistance to local governments to solve a variety of engineering challenges, using tire derived aggregate from shredded tires as an alternative to conventional lightweight aggregates in civil engineering projects and assists in diverting waste tires from landfill disposal, prevent illegal tire dumping, and promote markets for recycled-content tire products.
