Tenders are invited for the supply and delivery of sand and gravel for municipal use of the City of Dryden for 2027. Estimated quantities in tonnes are: Granular "A" 22mm (7/8") 2,500 tonnes; 37.5 mm (1 ½") Crushed Granular "B" Type III 2,300 tonnes; Bedding Sand 200 tonnes; ¾" Clear Stone 50 tonnes; Winter Control Sand 2,500 tonnes. Contract documents and tender forms may be obtained from the Public Works Department, 159 King Street, Dryden, ON, or on the City website. Tenders are to be submitted via the Bids and Tenders documents portal under the Bids & Tenders page on the City website, Reference #: T-2026-18, or by email to: aeuler@dryden.ca (Subject Line: T-2026-18) before 3:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, November 26, 2026 at which time they will be opened publicly. Failure to submit tender as indicated may result in the rejection of the tender. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the contract in the best interest of the City in its sole and unfettered discretion. The RM of St. Andrews No. 287, invites tender submissions for crushing of approximately 62,000 yards (as per drone measure) of existing raw material stockpile at the RM gravel pit located at SE 31-31-12 W3, approximately 15 miles east of Rosetown. Crushing timeline preference is any time after September 1, 2027 with completion by October 31, 2027. Or, beginning May 1, 2028 -- with completion by July 1, 2028. However, crushing could be mutually agreed upon with the successful bidder, with a crushing timeline as early as spring 2027, if an opportunity resulted in cost savings, due to being coordinated with projects already in the area. Tender details are provided in the attached tender document. A draft Service Agreement, has been attached for review, but is subject to change based on the provisions as mutually agreed upon between the RM of St. Andrews No. 287 and the successful bidder.
