Metro Vancouver is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for the construction and installation of a new Standby Power System (SPS) Facility serving the Iona Island Wastewater Treatment Plant (IIWWTP) Projects. The scope of work includes electrical installation (underground conduits, cable tray, power/instrumentation/control cabling, generators, transformers, E-houses, switchgear, site acceptance testing, commissioning, cutover), mechanical installation (oil-water separator, diesel fuel system, stormwater dewatering), and civil/structural works (trenching, concrete equipment pads), along with offloading, placement, installation and connection of Metro Vancouver pre-purchased major equipment (six 2 MW containerized diesel generators, electrical houses with 12.5 kV switchgear, transformers, load banks, and neutral grounding resistors).
