The State of Colorado Department of Natural Resources (DNR) — Energy & Carbon Management Commission (ECMC) issued an RFP to evaluate, repair, restart, and expand the South Fork Texas Creek Methane Mitigation Project near Bayfield, CO, including upgrades, expanded collection infrastructure, and monitoring. The contractor will assess equipment, prepare a QAPP, return the mitigation system to service, provide annual O&M through April 2029, and report performance metrics. The work is funded/subject to federal Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) requirements and is expected to begin March 16, 2026, with performance through April 30, 2029.
