Chester Center Water Fountain Repairs and Improvement
Repairs and improvements for the water fountain. Repair and improve the decorative fountain located at the campus. Work includes resurfacing the fountain basin, installing a new skimmer and circulation system, replacing the UV bulb, installing new lighting, and installing a new GFCI electrical outlet. Work shall includes drain fountain basin and remove all debris and sediment; pressure wash all concrete surfaces to remove dirt, algae, and loose material; allow surfaces to dry completely and vacuum remaining debris; seal cracks using flexible waterproof sealant suitable for submerged applications; apply two (2) coats of grey two-part epoxy pool paint to all interior concrete surfaces; follow manufacturer curing requirements between coats and prior to refilling; refill basin with water upon completion of curing; finished surface shall be smooth, uniform, and free of visible defects.
