INDOT seeks preliminary engineering and plan-development services to prepare construction contract documents for the SR-56 HMA overlay, preventative maintenance, and small-structures-and-drains project in Aurora, Indiana. The required work includes environmental documentation, topographic survey, roadway design, hydraulics, permit applications, right-of-way planning, utility coordination, and construction-phase services; additional studies may be added if needed. INDOT will provide geotechnical engineering, real-estate acquisition, and pavement design, and its record lists Appendix A and project-history, pavement-history, FWD-testing, scoping, map, and cost-estimate support files.
