Senior nutrition program meal provider. The Senior Nutrition Program is divided into two areas: Senior Dining Sites and Home Delivered Meals. In 2024, the County Senior Nutrition Program served 5,444 meals in the Senior Dining Sites and in that same year, 94,589 meals were delivered to people through the County Senior Home Delivered Meals program

Provide lunch-meal services at the Senior Center. The services must comply with federal, state, and local nutrition, food safety, and procurement regulations. Each meal must provide 1/3 of the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for older adults. Meals must include: One serving of protein (meat, poultry, fish, eggs, or alternate equivalent meat). Two servings of vegetables and/or fruit. One serving of whole or enriched grain or starchy vegetable. One serving of milk or dairy equivalent. A dessert or appropriate substitute. The anticipated contract term will be for one (1) year, with the option to renew annually for up to three (3) additional years. See attached file.
