Scotland 2026-2027

The Scotland County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) is soliciting proposals to serve juvenile court-involved and at-risk youth for the state fiscal year 2026-2027, targeting a wide range of program types (mentoring, counseling, temporary shelter, tutoring, vocational training, teen court, etc.). Funding is anticipated from the North Carolina Department of Public Safety with an estimated annual allocation of $179,764 and a required 10% local match; the period of performance begins on or after July 1, 2026. Eligible applicants include local public agencies, 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporations, and local housing authorities; proposals must demonstrate evidence-based practices and include an evaluation component.
