CNRMA (Commander Navy Mid-Atlantic Region) requires commercial pier space to Safe Haven barges and camels in the event of severe weather (Hurricane, tropical storm, North Easter’s). Services are needed to prevent possible damage to assets listed in paragraph 2.0 in the event of forecasted tropical force winds (hurricane) for the Hampton Roads Area. The Government reserves the right to nest assets depending on forecast storm to reduce Lay Berth pier linear footage requirements. No pier services such as water or electrical connections are required. Pier lighting will be provided at the piers by the contractor. Security will be provided under this PWS and contract at the contractor facilities. The contractor will provide a gate guard and pier rover to ensure equipment security. See attached file.
