Clean Water Research Center at South Shore Water Reclamation Facility RFP
A new clean water research center to pilot test primary filtration technologies will be constructed. The work includes construction of the new two story facility; installation of two different owner procured primary filtration pilot units and associated appurtenances; construction of two new wet wells; construction of a new conference room, laboratory, restrooms, office, fire protection system, electrical room, and mechanical room; installation of electrical, controls, building mechanical, and process mechanical equipment; open cut excavation to install process piping; construction of bioswale and pervious pavement; and connection to existing utilities.

The Work of this Contract is generally described as installation of a natural gas generator and automatic transfer switch; installation of variable frequency drives; installation of motor control centers; installation of generator control panel replacement; installation of lighting panels and adjustment of circuits; installation of neutral ground resistors; and other associated electrical improvements including sitework, structural, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, and instrumentation and control.

The City of Leander, herein after “City”, herein after “City”, is seeking an agreement with qualified Individuals, Firms, or Corporations, herein after “Respondents”, to provide Professional Services for the City of Leander. The City is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified Respondents with municipal experience and expertise in the technical area of Structural Design and Analysis. The City will create a pool of pre-qualified professional service Respondents for the above category who may then be contacted for a request for proposal (RFP) as projects come up throughout the Professional Services Agreement period of three (3) years. The resulting agreement of a negotiated RFP will be a Task Order for that individual project. Being approved within this pool does not guarantee that a qualified Respondent will be awarded a Task Order for services. Pre-Qualified respondents may be selected without an RFP, instead being selected based on the qualifications submitted Services are on an as-needed basis.
