Demolition, erosion control, fencing, grading, drainage, paving, airfield electrical, and pavement marking for airfield improvements for runway 19 end of the airfield. Work involves partial relocation and realignment of taxiways a, a7 and a8, partial extension of taxiway b and fillet widening of taxiway b5. Work includes approx., 8,100 SY of new airfield pavement, 2,700 SY of milled overlay airfield pavement, 10,000 CY of earthwork, 1,542 LF of storm drainage pipe and 21 associated drainage structures, construction of permanent dry detention basin, 2,370 LF of new chain link fence. Incidental items include but are not limited to demolition, grassing, pavement markings, sediment and erosion control items, and taxiway edge lighting and signage. Additive bid no. 1 to the project involves excavation of a new dry detention basin located north of woods lake road and installation of limited pipe/structure storm drainage system. The work involves approx., 21,100 CY of excavation (stockpiled on site), 210 LF of storm drainage pipe and 5 associated drainage structure. Incidental items include but are not limited to grassing and sediment and erosion control work. Additive bid no. 2 to the project involves installation of a new 60kw diesel emergency generator with concrete pad, 250-gallon fuel tank with concrete pad, automatic transfer switch, and all associated wiring and connections to connect the emergency generator to the existing airfield lighting vault.
