Route 80 Control Valve Improvements - Phase 2 RFP

Description: Project includes construction of a below grade valve vault and associated appurtenances, piping, a new access driveway, new drainage and stormwater management systems, new fencing and site lighting; and new electrical and other communications work to support the new valve vault equipment. Project also includes installation of approximately 1,100 feet of 36-inch ductile iron pipe (dip) transmission main, approximately 960 feet of 12-inch dip distribution main on barnes avenue, and a 36-inch tapping sleeve and valve on the existing 48-inch prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (pccp) within quinnipiac avenue. Temporary water main, temporary water services, replacement water services, and associated restoration is included in this project. Replacement or relocation of existing storm drainage and sanitary sewer service laterals on barnes avenue is also included.
