Summary
The District of North Vancouver is seeking qualified fuel treatment and forest operations contractors to perform operational fuel treatment works including hazard tree removal, thinning from below, surface fuel reduction, pruning, and debris removal in parkland and interface forest areas. The project is a provincially approved wildfire risk-reduction initiative jointly funded by the Union of BC Municipalities (UBCM) Community Resiliency Investment (CRI) Program and the District of North Vancouver. The net project area is 32.8 hectares split into two treatment units: Seymour River (3.8 ha) and Indian River Drive (29.0 ha).
