Summary
The Commonwealth of Kentucky's Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, on behalf of the Energy and Environment Cabinet's Division of Abandoned Mine Lands (EEC-AML), is soliciting bids for construction services at the Williams (Site Area) and Reed sites in Lee County, Kentucky to remediate acid mine drainage from previous abandoned mine land projects. The contractor will reopen portals and construct Non-Wildlife Portal Closures, repair a failed Concrete Spring Box Inlet Type 1 at the Williams site, and construct Class II/III Rock Ditch and clean out the roadside ditch along Hwy #399 at the Reed site.
