The Federal Bureau of Prisons is planning an IDIQ, firm-fixed-price contract for in-house RRC beds and home-confinement placements for federal male and female offenders in Michigan’s Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph, or Van Buren counties. The requirement covers up to 30 RRC beds and 20 home-confinement placements per year, with a one-year base period and four one-year options, and the government intends to award both service lines to one provider. This is an active presolicitation; the formal solicitation is expected around October 26, 2026, and the notice estimates closing around December 29, 2026.
