Summary
The City of Lynwood is seeking qualified consultants to provide professional urban forestry services, including developing and adopting an Urban Forest Management Plan (UFMP), completing a comprehensive tree inventory of approximately 15,000 public trees, and implementing priority urban forestry improvements such as tree planting, tree care, and community tree distributions. The project is funded through the CAL FIRE Urban and Community Forestry (UCF) Grant Program and aims to enhance environmental conditions, promote climate resilience, and ensure environmental equity. The selected consultant will also manage a tree planting program to install at least 500 public trees and organize residential tree distribution events for up to 500 trees at no cost to residents.
