he services to be performed may consist of one or more of the following tasks: (a) The protection and enforcement of UConn’s IP in the United States and overseas including preparation and prosecution of patents; (b) Obtaining copyright and trademark protection; (c) Intellectual property litigation and licensing related to inventions, patents, copyrights, and trademarks including licensing to business start-ups; (d) Legal aspects of the formation, structure, governance, financing and business transactions with/for new and growing technology-based companies; (e) General IP legal advice to UConn on matters outside TCS. Such matters will be managed by UConn’s Office of General Counsel; (f) Review, analysis, investigation and research necessary to carry out the Services; (g) Preparing, writing and providing to UConn and/or ATTORNEY GENERAL or his designee all documents and instruments, in electronic, magnetic, paper and any other form, which are necessary or appropriate to carry out said Services.
