Summary
This project involves the renovation and expansion of the existing Unit Training \r Equipment Site (UTES) facilities, with comprehensive upgrades across architectural, mechanical, electrical, and \r structural systems. The renovation scope includes the installation of a new fire alarm system throughout the \r facility to enhance life safety. Mechanical improvements feature the replacement of the existing hydronic \r HVAC system and mini-split units in office areas, along with the addition of radiant heating and cooling \r systems in both the existing building and maintenance bays. The compressed air systems serving the \r maintenance bays will also be replaced.\r Interior renovations will modernize restroom facilities and upgrade finishes throughout, including walls, \r flooring, and ceilings. Electrical enhancements are planned to support all mechanical and structural upgrades, \r including the replacement of electrical panels, installation of new outlets in the maintenance bays, and \r conversion of existing lighting to energy-efficient LED fixtures. Overhead garage doors and openers will also \r be upgraded. Structurally, a new overhead crane will be installed within the existing maintenance bay addition \r to improve operational capabilities.\r In addition to these renovations, the project includes the construction of a new 4,000-square-foot maintenance \r bay addition. This new space will be fully equipped and feature its own overhead crane system, further \r expanding the facility’s capacity and functionality.
