Borough Appraiser for Real Estate Tax Appeals by way of a contract for one (1) year ending December 31, 2026. Responsibilities shall include: Working with the attorney representing the Borough on tax appeals; Appearing at conferences, settlements, and court as needed; Preparing reports and providing advice to the Mayor and Council regarding issues that arise, including, but not limited to: rations; tax regulations; fair market values; and other analysis as required; interacting with the Borough's Administration on related tax issues; interacting with the Borough’s insurance carrier regarding liability issues; when requested by the Mayor and Council, replying to inquiries from residents and/or commercial enterprises; and attending meetings as requested by the Mayor and Council.
