Purchase of Water Softener Replacement

Work consists of the upgrading of softener #4 at the water treatment plant includes interior and exterior work, including installation of new 6" dezurik influent and effluent valves for isolation of softener, removal and disposal of existing softener media, cleaning of softener vessel, inspection coordination by 3rd party contractor, and full media replacement, enlarging entry hatch to osha standards, structural rehabilitation of tank (pitwelds), disinfection, sandblasting, & epoxy coating of softener vessel. Work may also include partial or full replacement of internal tank components, disinfecting and epoxy coating and additional work related to softener #3 in the city.
