PERISHABLE TOOLING FOR OUTER WING PANEL (OWP) AILERON HINGE REPLACEMENTS
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to procure perishable tooling for inboard and outboard aileron hinge changes on F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G outer wing panels. The contractor would manufacture, assemble, inspect, ship, and deliver tooling used with the specified OWP hinge-repair tooling and repair instructions. The notice says the requirement is intended to be procured on a sole-source basis from approved supplier J&S Tool, Inc., and explicitly states that it is not a request for competitive proposals.
