Palisades Charter Elementary School -LAUSD

Description: The project involves restoration of existing intact campus buildings and new construction for a campus containing 22 classrooms. New construction includes a one-story classroom building with five TK/Kindergarten classrooms, a two-story classroom building with seven general classrooms, and a one-story multi-purpose building with two specialty classrooms, an MPR, and support spaces. The work also includes restoration and repair of the existing Main Administration and Cafeteria buildings, including full HVAC and fire alarm replacements. Construction is phased to maintain active campus systems and accommodate partial/beneficial occupancies. Major trade scopes include demolition and hazardous material handling, concrete and masonry, structural steel and metal deck, roofing and building envelope, doors and glazing, interior framing and finishes, specialties and equipment, elevators, fire sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC and controls, electrical, low voltage/communications, fire alarm, earthwork, paving, site concrete, fencing, landscape/irrigation, site utilities, photovoltaic/BESS systems, and related closeout and commissioning work.
