Summary
Work includes inspect all exterior surfaces, including siding, trim, doors, soffits, and other painted building components, to identify and repair damaged areas prior to painting, clean and prepare all surfaces to be painted, including power washing, scraping, sanding, and removing all loose or peeling paint, dirt, mildew, and debris, perform minor repairs as needed, such as patching holes, caulking joints or seams, and replacing small sections of damaged wood or trim, as necessary, to ensure a sound substrate for painting. Extensive repairs or replacements exceeding routine preparation must be approved by the city.
