Pactola Loop B Campground Reconstruction Project (Pre-solicitation)

The USDA Forest Service issued a presolicitation for reconstruction of Loop B at Pactola Reservoir Campground in the Black Hills National Forest, South Dakota, covering road modifications, expansion of camping spurs, host site relocation, water system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements to support modern RVs. This is a presolicitation requesting a Capability Statement only (Statement of Capability) due by January 12, 2026 at 09:00 AM Mountain Time; full bid documents (SOW, drawings, plans) will be provided in the forthcoming formal solicitation. The road will be modified with curve widening and shaping for drainage and new surfacing. Generally, the road width will be 16' for one-way traffic and 24' for two-way traffic. A new 20 parking stall trailhead will be constructed. The existing trail trailhead will be repurposed as overflow and boat trailer parking. Loop b currently has 20 spurs that are primitive and poorly defined. The campground will be improved to have a total of 36 camping spurs as base items. This is a presolicitation for the Veterans Point Trail Rehabilitation Project to rehabilitate an existing asphalt trail and associated structures at Veterans Point in Black Hills National Forest (Pennington County, South Dakota). Work includes crack filling and sealing, reconstruction of select trail sections, stabilization of eroding areas, asphalt seal coating, replacing timber retaining walls with segmental concrete block walls, constructing gabion baskets, repairing/removing pipe railings, and removal of certain amenities; an optional bid item covers work on a lakeshore loop. Period of performance is March 15, 2026  May 20, 2027, and the government requests submission of a Capability Statement by the response deadline.

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime issued an RFQ (SPE7LX26U2821) requesting quotes for 9,508 units of CLAMP, LOOP (NSN 5340015392440). The procurement is a Total Small Business set-aside for an Automated Indefinite Delivery Contract with a one-year term or until aggregate orders reach $350,000; minimum guaranteed quantity 1,426 units and estimated 11 orders/year with delivery within 73 days of order. All responsible sources are eligible to submit electronic quotes by January 21, 2026; no specifications or hard copy drawings were provided on the solicitation pages.
