Old Knight Road Sidewalk Improvement Project

Description: This project will construct sidewalks and fill in gaps of the existing sidewalk network along boulevard (us 64 business) and old knight road totaling approx. 1,255 LF of sidewalk. Sidewalk construction along boulevard (approx. 160 LF) will include pavement markings, signage, and sidewalk and is not expected to involve roadway or drainage improvements. Sidewalk construction along old knight road (approx. 1,095 LF) will include pavement markings, sidewalk, drainage improvements, minor roadway improvements, and curb and gutter. This project is a partnership between the town and the wake county transit tax district community funding program. This project will not receive federal funding and will be bid to the town of standards.
