Offsite 12" Water Line and 8" Sanitary Force Main

Work includes connect to the existing 8" force main on old bush river road, the installation of a 6,600-lf, 12" force main, combination of trench installation and jack and bore. Connect to the 16" force main at road.

Construction of a new sewer force main and reclaimed water main. The project involves the furnishing and installation of a new force main and reclaimed water main, which will be installed through open cut along the easement. The force main will be extended using directional drilling techniques. The existing gravity sewer main lacks the capacity to accommodate future flows from upcoming developments. Carneys Point Township Sewerage Authority (CPTSA)

New 12,065 LF of 12" sanitary sewer force main from the existing wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) to the existing pump station. A second 6,790 LF force main in proposed to extend from the pump station to pump station. The second force main is 8" and features air-vacuum release valves at the local high points. A pigging station is proposed at pump station to allow for regular cleaning of the force main, and air-vacuum release valves will be placed at the all local high points. The pump station is also proposed to received a significant upgrade to convey flow from new development in the region; these upgrades include bu are not limited to: a second 10' diameter wet well, new valve vault with metering manhole, bypass to the existing force main, and new generator and electrical service upgrade.
