Model 84 Charpy V-Notch (CVN) Impact Tester Annual Calibration and Verification Services RFP
To perform mandatory annual direct verification, calibration, and certification of its Model 84 Charpy V-Notch (CVN) Impact Tester. Contractor Qualifications and Accreditation: The Contractor shall provide a qualified calibration technician to perform all services. The Contractor shall maintain a current Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 or ANSI/NCSL Z540-1, issued by an internationally recognized accrediting body (such as A2LA, ANAB, or NVLAP), explicitly covering on-site direct physical verification of pendulum impact testing machines per ASTM E23. Safety and Environmental Compliance: The Contractor shall comply with all federal, state, local, and host-installation safety and environmental regulations. The Contractor shall utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Government Furnished Property and Support: The Government will provide the Contractor with access to the equipment site during normal working hours, Monday through Friday, from 0630 to 1500, excluding federal holidays. The Government will ensure the workspace surrounding the CVN tester is clear and clean prior to the Contractor's arrival. See attached file.
