Notice of Intent to Sole Source to Isotropx RFP

Description: The U.S. Department of Energy’s Idaho Operations Office, on behalf of the Office of Nuclear Energy (NE-31) and the Radiological and Environmental Sciences Laboratory (RESL), intends to negotiate and award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to Techcomp (USA) Inc., doing business as Isotopx. The purchase is for one Isotopx DG60 Filament Degasser (Product Code 90009326) to meet RESL’s mission-critical need for a specialized filament degassing instrument. Required deliverables include the degasser, automated temperature-ramping controller software, filament racks, on-site engineer installation and familiarization, and a minimum 24-month comprehensive manufacturer’s warranty.
