NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE – Equipment Maintenance Contract for Flash X-ray Systems and Computed Radiography Systems

Description: The Department of the Army intends to award a sole-source, five-year IDIQ contract to FISICA Applied Technologies, Inc. for OEM parts and comprehensive maintenance, repair, refurbishment, calibration, upgrades, modifications, installation, certification, and engineering support for Government-owned FISICA Flash X-ray and Computed Radiography Systems at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The notice states that FISICA is the only responsible source because it owns the proprietary technical data and intellectual property required to support the installed systems. Although the notice is not a request for competitive proposals, responsible sources may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations by August 12, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. EDT.
