Forsyth County, North Carolina published a notice pursuant to N.C.G.S. 160A-269 of an offer to purchase County-owned real property, triggering the negotiated offer, advertisement, and upset bids process. The notice explains that any party may submit a qualifying upset bid within 10 days by increasing the prior bid threshold and depositing 5% with the Clerk to the Board, and that this process repeats until no further qualifying bids are received. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all offers and to sell the property to the highest bidder after the upset bid period concludes.
